So much joy and peace comes from enjoying God's creations. The beauty that is lost in over scheduled and planned events can't be recovered. For the most part I've got 24 hours in a day to do with what I want. BUT I've got people scheduling me and planning my activities with so much gusto I don't have much time to breathe or sleep or eat! I don't like having every minute of my life planned and scheduled. Last night I defenestrated (threw out the window) my schedule and decided to do what I wanted for the night. I talked with friends and learned for fun. I asked questions and did a lot of thinking:) I like to just relax and think. Sometimes my roommates think I go into my own world and that's because I really do. I'll shut out the distractions and just listen to myself think and figure things out. I've been lacking in the pleasant reflective-thinking department lately and I liked it. I like having a plan for my life, but I am fine with just a general direction rather than a play by play.
Amidst all this planning and scheduling I've been trying to study. Study for my test that I'm supposed to be taking tonight (I don't think that'll happen). I've been learning quite a lot about the human ear. It's a rather interesting peice of anatomy.

In the above picture you can see the ear with all the skin and tissue and then with just the cartilage on the right. I get to learn all the parts and peices of the ear.

There are so many different parts that I didn't even know had their own name! Every ridge and crevice has a specific name. It's ridiculous. I got the two above ear pictures from my lecture in my hearing science class. There are 500+ pictures and diagrams of the different parts and veiws of the ear that I have to be familiar with. That's a lot if you were wondering. The only other time I've seen more ears in one place, that aren't physically that person's own ears, is in Walt Disney world. There are so many people that wear all different kinds of mouse ears...

So, I should get back to studying... cause I really do need to take that test tonight... ugh.
