Oil Spill

In the news there’s a lot about the oil spill that happened in the Gulf of Mexico and how it’s messing up the ecosystems in the Gulf. Well, yes, it is a disaster that the marine life is now at risk for destruction. Yes, it’s a tragedy that the people can’t figure out how to stop the spewing of the oil into the Gulf. Yes, the media is having a field day blaming people. Yes, the president is aware of the problem, and can’t do anything. Yes, the beaches are getting all tar like and gross. Yes, the company is not doing a good job at fixing their problem. Yes, oil is dangerous to life if it’s in large quantities.

In Dinosaur there was an oil leak today. I say leak because it is microscopic in comparison to the one that is happening in the Gulf. One of the time rovers decided to leak oil and this made the track very slippery. So slippery that the time rover was trying to get up a hill, but slide back down instead. A rover was coming behind that one and if the cars get to close to each other the ride automatically shuts off power to the entire attraction. We call this an E-Stop or Emergency Stop or In-Show. This means that all guests in the building must be escorted off the ride and out the building. Then that time rover had to be removed and the track cleaned up. After that was done the ride was back up and guests were allowed into the building!
