I'm very much ready to leave on my mission. Staying put at my home in Texas has it's advantages but I'm ready to be on my own sharing the Gospel. Well, not really alone. I'll be with my companion 24/7.
The weather in the Northeast is about 20 degrees lower than Houston weather right now. It's gonna be super cold when I get there in November. I've already ordered boots!
They are waterproof, warm, made of leather, good treads on the bottom, and decently stylish:)
I want to be all ready right now!:) but time must pass and I'm really doing my best at filling it with practicing the piano, sewing skirts, watching my favorite tv shows, looking up random facts about the Northeast, physical therapy, shopping, volunteering at old folks homes, and babysitting. . . and if I get to it cleaning my brother's room which I am occupying until I leave. I think I can manage till October.
