We went to a lesson with the Bailey Family. And of course chaos is always there. This time Joleen (the mom)'s friends, Felicia and Melanie, were there with all their kids. Like 11+ children running around and screaming. We've met Felicia before and she hasn't wanted to meet with us, just not interested. And Melanie has met with missionaries before, but it just wasn't her thing. So we're wondering how Joleen is doing with these friends that don't want to be around us. WELL, we had no need to worry because they started asking us if they could sit in the lesson with us that day!!!!! WHAT!?!?!?!!! That was sooooo amazing! So, we gathered as many chairs as we could, and had a question and answer session. They asked a ton of questions and we'd turn to the Bible or Book of Mormon to answer them! I knew there was a reason I studied in the morning:) Every one of their questions was something I had studied in my personal study sometime in the past week, and the spirit of God brought it to my memory to answer! it was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are now teaching all of them this Wednesday and they are feeding us dinner:)
miracle #2
We went to see a less-active member, Kala. She is sooooo amazing! She's a young mom and has two crazy kids. We talked about the plan of salvation and read some scriptures that go along with each piece of the plan. The last scriptures were about the resurrection when our bodies become spotless and perfect. She almost started crying and asked if that was really true. YES! I bore my testimony of how my uncles will all have hair on their heads and how I won't have to limp anymore. Her face lit up and she was soooo happy. She has a hard time finding herself to be beautiful, but now she knows that she will be in the perfect body, one day. That made her soooo happy!!! I love bringing the joy of the Gospel into people's lives.
