Recovery: Week Two and a Half

I got my second cast! But not until after another week of my ankle swelling and me wobbling on crutches. At the Doctors offices my mom got my camera and started snapping:) Here's me on the examining table... waiting for the brace/cast to come off. 

The nurse was very kind and unwrapped my leg and cut my bandages off.

My toes are purple. And from my ankle to my toes is swollen. The rest of my legs was yellow. Once the wrapping were off my mom got some good shots of my stitches.

The white Santa Clause like fuzz on my leg is the remnants of my bandages. My mom was nice enough to clean my leg before the new cast was put on.

 I count 8 stitches. WOW! I thought there'd be more, but there isn't. And soon the stitches will be taken out. There will be a narly looking scar. I'm actually kinda scared of the stitches being taken out.

My Pink New Cast. The man that put this on was very nice. He made sure I got the right color I wanted and he made sure I wouldn't get cramps with it on. He was also kinda cute. . . When I got home I was supposed to try walking with weight on my left foot now. But I'm still on crutches.
