HOLLY WAS BAPTIZED!!!!! Her parents came which was wonderful, they
thought the service was lovely. They aren't members and from the sounds
of it they were against her joining the church when she was younger, so
their hearts are being softened:)
Terry (in her 40's) is one of our less actives that is amazing!!! Her parents
are not a fan of her being a member of this church and have threatened
to disown her if she continues to come. She's kinda dependent on them so it's a big deal. We've been teaching her for
about 3 months now, and never once had we asked her to come to church.
We've planned multiple times to commit her to come, but it never came
out of our mouths! BUT she's been coming for the past 3 weeks now! Well,
this past Friday when we met with her, Sis. Anderson asked her why she
decided to come to church again. She said she had her reply all ready
for when the missionaries were going to ask her and she'd say she can't
run more than she is able, and she'd be slow and win the prize and can't
come to church. Well, since we never asked her she got tired of waiting
to give us that response and rearranged her schedule to come to church,
because she knew that it was important and should be going, even if the
missionaries don't ask. The Lord knew what he was doing when he shut
our mouths with that commitment:)
