Investigators from Nepal

May 28, 2012 (Sorry, these are out of order a little bit)

We just found an awesome family!!!! They are from Nepal and are so excited to learn about Christianity. They are Hindu, so we are starting from the beginning, like started teaching who Christ is, who heavenly Father is, what the Bible is. The two girls, Rabina and Rita, came to church!!! And they loved it. They told their Grandfather, RamRai, and he wants to come next Sunday, and is getting the rest of the family to come too! Because he only speaks nepali, and needs translators:) he's awesome. We watched the DVD, "Finding Faith in Christ" with them. They loved seeing Christ's life. Their family is so nice they offer us food every time we are over there. We accept of course, but make sure that they know they don't have to feed us. The last time we were over they offered us Coffee... well, I don't drink coffee so I nicely explained I don't drink coffee because it's against the word of wisdom, etc. then They offered us tea, uh... same thing, I explained it's also against the word of wisdom. Instead of being weirded out by it or taking offense, they were so sweet. They apologized for not knowing and offered us some juice:) They are wonderful. I love them a lot.

Sister Robbins is knitting. She knits a ton. Like a knitting machine. She just learned when she got here too! CRAZY. I'm working on a lap robe to donate to the hospital, and I finished making a giant sock for bigfoot, and I've made some wristers, and am also making a scarf. So, I think I take after my mom, too many projects at once:) It's amazing that I find the time to knit because I am always out doing work, and hardly ever able to sit down with my knitting needles.
