We painted Sis. Kinnie's second house! It was soooo fun! tons of paint, tons of laughs, and now she's converting the house into a second hand book shop... no more than 3 dollars a book! I was so happy,I might get some amazing books and have to send them home.... we'll see.
We met with Daily and he accepted a baptismal date! In about two months he'll be baptized! He's on vacation now in Dallas, Texas, but will come back in a few weeks! He's a 12 year old boy. his sister just got baptized and now he wants it. Their parents aren't into religion right now, but really are happy their children are finding God.
We do service at the libraries in some of the towns around here. and shelve books! It's so much fun, but at the same time it's torture cause I can't read them! anyways...
JoAnne is gonna get baptized next month! She and her friends were all learning together but they turned against God all of a sudden, so JoAnne told them they were a bunch of "silly ol' bags o' rubbish" and that this church is the one that she's found to be true! How cool!
Joleen and Michael are gonna get baptized! but the dad wants to be a part of it now! so we'll get him on board and he'll get a baptismal date too!!! They really are such a bunch of great people. They really are striving so hard to build their faith.
Georgie is my favorite though. She's so great. She was excommunicated several years ago, and now has the opportunity to come back to Christ and get sealed to the parents that raised her. She is so great, she's 60 and never had real love in her life, from anyone. But George and Rose helped her as she was growing up and want her to be sealed to them. So we're helping them by getting Georgie ready to go to the temple. It'll be a long road, but she's gonna make it!!!
