Roller Coaster

The car should be done at most about 2 weeks. So Hopefully it'll be done sooner rather than later! Transfers are the 13th of october... so pray me and Sis. Chantry stay together another transfer so we can celebrate our year mark together!!! on the 26th!

David and Barbara and Claudia are some of my most favorite people ever!!! They rock my socks! David and Barbara are engaged to be married Oct 20th, and baptized Nov 3rd, then they are planning on being sealed in the temple on their baptismal day one year later!! They are sooooooo excited about becoming a member of the church. In one of our lessons this past week we were just answering all their questions... they have a ton. And we briefly explained what the word of wisdom was and how it prohibited the use of coffee. Claudia in a rage says, "I have given up cigarrettes, drugs, alcohol, and now you want me to give up my coffee!?!?! I will NOT give up my coffee!!!!!" So we calmed her down and bore testimony of the spiritual power we receive from obedience. She still refused to give up coffee. Then she asked about temples. We talked about their significance and how they are literally the Lord's house and we can have our families sealed together forever in the temple!!! Well, the only picture of the temple we had with us was the one I had gotten as the holder for my temple recommend with the Houston Temple on it, so I pulled that out to show Claudia what they look like. I explained the reccommend and told her that it was very precious to me. I handed it to her and no joke, she froze. Her facial expression changed and softened, she was in visible shock. She looked me in the eye and asked if I could feel that. I asked what she felt. She couldn't describe it. She mentioned incredible peace and joy and healing that she was feeling. She said words couldn't describe the wholeness and love she felt. She clung to my recommend. Then, she stared off into space for a time, in awe. Barbara said, "that if they all felt that powerfully by just holding a picture of the Temple, imagine how powerful and wonderful it must feel IN the temple!" Claudia returned my recommend and very seriously said she'd give up coffee. She was going to go to that temple, what ever it took, she was going to go. She is bound and determined to go to the House of the Lord. The spirit was sooooooo strong! I have goosebumps just remembering that powerful experience. The Lord's work is real!!! Lives are improved and Love is increased as the Gospel is studied and lived!!! I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY!!!!!!!
