1,897 Miles Away

So, Miracles all over the place! We have 6 new investigators this week and witnessed a huge miracle from finding them. One stands out in my mind the most. We were visiting a potential, no answer at the door. So we went to their neighbors house who ended up being a less-active member! We, and apparently the rest of the ward, didn't know they were there. We taught them, the Rollins family, (and they showed up at General Conference!) Then after we taught them, we went back to our potential's home. A car was pulling up and we talked with the man, named Dana, for a while, he invited us in to meet his parents and it turns out his brother(who wasn't there) is our potential. We talked for about an hour. During which the spirit was strong, Dana asked us to pray for his step dad, Bill. We offered a prayer. Both Dana and Bill had tears in their eyes. They felt God's presence and told us so. Before the prayer they didn't want the Book of Mormon, or to learn more about Christ's restored Gospel, but after the prayer they excepted the Book of Mormon and a return appointment! They experienced the power of God, and wanted to know more. I love when things like this happen!! Such Miracles! All because we were being obedient so we had the spirit of God with us, they recognized us as representatives of Jesus Christ, and asked us to pray for them. The spirit was there and they recognized it because we prayed for them. Not AT them or IN FRONT of them but FOR them. Just like in 3 Nephi 17 when Christ prays for the people. Powerful stuff.
