So.......We had Zone Conference yesterday and it was so nice. Elder Marcus B. Nash was there. He's from the Quorum of the Seventy, and he talked in General Conference this last October. He taught us about Faith, and being Christlike. I really liked how he mentioned that we as missionaries need to be working really closely with the members of our wards and gaining the trust of the members. To do that he said our focus should be serving and teaching. Which is what I'm trying to do so it made me feel good I am on the right road.
We had a great experience this past week! We have been really struggling trying to find people to teach. On Sunday we went over to Sister Grey's home and she's a professor at the local Military University called Norwich. She teaches History. Well, she always invites students over to her home. Some of them are less-active members, some active, some are friends of members. Well, we went over to her home while all the students were there. We had lunch and shared a lesson on the Plan of Salvation. There were several questions about it, and we were able to teach with the spirit. We invited everyone to call us or talk to us if they had any other questions and we would love to teach them more. So, Yesterday, Monday, we got a call from Sister Grey. Two students want to learn more!! One is not a member, and the other is a Less-active member that hasn't ever really been to church. I'm really looking forward to teaching them in a way that they can come closer to Jesus Christ!
